Reason: Metacommunicating, talking over skype, was stopped because they were tresspassing, a all access ID was assumed because a simple gardener had access to science without any former knowledge from anyone, somebody else stopped an officer, started being snarky in OOC, and talked back to admins..
This is a temporary ban, it will be removed in 20160 minutes.

This is more of a statement than a ban appeal... this is my entire communication related to the issue nothing is skipped. Just after informing shark-robot(security?), my roboticist friend Harmony got PM-ed by a certain admin (i read some of the text she sent me via steam, and it seems the admin was trying to intimidate my friend for..."being snarky" apparently by telling that shark that i got legit access to xenobotany...(by the way shark just barged in and started tazering me and the clown and dragging me out of science wing).As you can see there was no metagaming... my friend and i were talking about adminbuse not gameplay; thus metagaming rule is not broken! Also trying to impose authority by claiming she/he is one of the oldest amins...yadda yadda yadda is seriously not mature, especially without ANY investigation of the actual case whatever! Whoever that was was acting rash and immature, which is the first admin like that i saw on this server! I feel bad for my friend really she hates such corruption(as do i), and to make matters even worse she just started as a roboticist! Annother thing to add the clown was there with my permission (someone sabotaged the elevator door which chewed the clown a bit, so i dragged him to xenobotany to get him healed with deus, the clown did nothing bad, the only thing he did was hugging and asking for hugs)

Your ban was directly over disrespect, and the added benefit of metacomms, acting snarky and blatantly disrespecting an admin over and over, along with the fact you only included a portion of the logs, is only adding to the dissapointment in this.

Your ban was for simply two weeks, I can lower it down to one, or possibly 3 days.

Blueshield is a position that cares about heads/high security areas, and you could have had an all access ID at that time because you had extra access, it was an IC affair at that point, basically, what happened here was due to disrespect, a IC problem, was spiralled into OOC, and shit had to happen, which could have been easily fixed, Snarky behavior isn't something we allow here, we try to be the most friendly community we can.

Incorrect, I came in, saw a clown in, the clown in the past has been unresponsive to verbal communication, I tazed him, you stood in front of him, that literally means you were an accomplice, same reason to tase that you just did that, they knocked me over, at the time I then noticed your gardener ID, I went over to see about it.And.. The admin just contacted me via BYOND i got the whole chat screeshoted... how do i post the evidence?

i dont know what kinda clown was he in the past but at that time he was ok and didnt do anything bad,in fact he responded to you! also i mostly stayed in one spot while clown ran arround... and i dont know who knocked you, cause i was knocked out from all the tazing, are ya sure ya didnt taze yourself? We didnt like when a certain shark barged in blasting tazers, and then not even checking the IDs! Ofcourse we didn't like being bullied! (what ya did wasnt even close to RP or doing security work more like shitcurity) On top of that all of your claims are based on "if i remember good" or "that clown in the past" or "other server" none of which are based on what was happening at that time on that server!

The clown in the past has done such, and I didn't barge in blasting tasers, as much as you want to believe, I was trying to escort him out of an area he shouldn't have been in, also, we do have a slight continuum going on in the server, ask Unleashed for ALOT of details on this, so yes, of course I would remember a certain pesky clown who runs around screwing with the department.

I tried to be 'nice' Sir, however what had happened is, she didn't make any rude posts or demand information, or accuse me of falsifying information and such, therefore I saw no reason to even keep her ban, the original situation was a giant misunderstanding, however, what came after with the reaction, and rude behavior was grounds for a ban, yours has been shortened to a week, I removed hers because she wasn't having such behavior.

Well I don't want to be too hasty, Vuk wasn't hurling insults during this conversation at least.
But claiming that we falsify information is a little mean. I don't modify server logs and if I heard that a member of my administration would go that far, they wouldn't stay in here for long.

For the whole ban thought, I'll give Vuk that it's true that metacomms is usually for IC stuff and not OOC. At the same time, it's not your job to whiteknight your friend if they're getting talked to by an administrator. Now I guess this whole mess happened because everyone was upset over what happened in IC, so you all took your anger out over adminchat / OOC. Though do try to avoid bringing a issue like this on OOC. Other people don't need to hear it if they're not involved at all.

So in the end byond says i'm still banned for things i DIDN'T DO, while i am actually still banned for what precisely? Being angry at an admin who shouldnt have banned me and my friend in the first place? Am i banned for making an admins fuckup public? For suspecting an admin with shady behaviour (mildly said) might do shady things? And i'll damn defend my friend, its my right, especially when somethin smells like adminbuse! So at least what ya admins can do i make a CLEAR statement with REAL reason why am i still banned (especially since i wasnt suppoused to be banned in the first place)

Well yeah, we unbanned your friend since they didn't really do anything wrong and that was understood. And from what I read I doubt there was any intention to intimidate here, it's just the way Beyond puts their words :/.
And your research isn't trashed, there are a couple of wikis (vore wiki and polaris wiki) which explains how things work, though even we need to figure out a few things so I do apologize for that mess, but the wikis should update over time.
And in the end, the error was that things got blown out of proportions, you could've had a nice conversation with them instead of acting like it was injustice that has to be yelled over the roof, it's not nice to other players who don't necessarily want to hear shitstorms over OOC.

So yes, you did get banned for making it a OOC shitstorm, if you want to complaint about an admin's behavior. The forums is where you want to do it, not the ingame OOC. That usually ends up making everyone pretty upset and it's not nice.

But I also agree that usually being mad over OOC isn't worth this long of a ban. So I will lift it since it's been long enough anyway, but I expect you to put your complaints in the forums where it's much easier to keep the information than do it over OOC  -  In this case it could have been a complaint about their IC actions being too much / overblown, but it was still IC, not everyone roleplays the perfect rolemodel of their job (Where's the fun in no shitcurity amirite). As a last word, arguing with an admin is fine, but try to keep it civil and don't assume we got shady intentions from the get go, at best try to calm down and assess what happened before making claims.
